Im a former<br />member/employee of, "The New York, 84 King St. Paradise<br />Garage". I was introduced to House Music in 1976, by a<br />friend, who had been on the scene since the mid sixties. I<br />was seventeen and hooked! I became a part of the New<br />York/Jersey club scenes. DJ's like Nicky Siano-Larry Levan ran his<br />lights-Tony Humphries, Larry Paterson, Francois K.,Tee Scott<br />and *David Todd from Philly-who taught Larry Levan how to<br />play. Places like, Al Murphy's Zanzibar, Docks, Melons, The<br />Loft, Buttermilk Bottoms and Reade Street. These were my<br />experiences!<br /><br />Paradise Garage was king. It was magical heaven! And<br />still, for many of us, those precious memories live within<br />us. We was family! We danced to the worlds greatest sound<br />system with the worlds greatest DJ,<br />Larry Levan. We was spoiled! Today, some forty plus years<br />later, the 'house sound, is still breathing strong, with a<br />heavy pulse! When the Paradise Garage finally closed on<br />9-27-87, Larry said,"One day we will all party together<br />again". That day is here! I created LEGENDARY NIGHTS, to<br />celebrate the 'Spirit' of House Music- globally! I plan to<br />bring the most gifted, creative DJ's from around the world<br />to Atlanta.
